Carson Palmer Suffers Season-Ending Knee Injury

Carson Palmer went down in Sunday's game versus the St. Louis Rams late in the third quarter. Preliminary reports suggest that this is indeed a torn MCL or ACL related injury. Palmer has had injury issues throughout the season but this one might be his last, at least until next season.

The injury itself was a non contact event, where Palmer awkwardly planted his leg on the turf. Drew Stanton is Palmer’s backup and took the Cardinals down the field for some scores and a W.

The question facing the Cardinals now is can the defense and run game help carry the load for their offense? This is a tough blow for a top NFC playoff contender however if anyone knows how to weather the storm its Bruce Arians.
