Cardi B Turns Herself Into NYPD For Alleged Fight With Bartenders

The legend of Cardi B continues to grow and produce layer after layer of social media and chart-topping success, from her very public and complicated personal life with Migos member Offset to her ongoing feud for Queen of hip-hop supremacy with Nicki Minaj, which included a physical confrontation at a New York Fashion Week gala.

In 2017, the Bronx born artist became the first solo female rapper to top the singles charts in two decades. Then in July, she became the first female rapper with two Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 bangers. Her rise from the strip clubs of the BX to a global icon is an inspirational story that deserves an ending worthy of her accomplishments, but Cardi’s been making it hard on herself lately.

She’s like a tea kettle ready to burst.

In the latest Cardi drama, she surrendered to NYPD on Monday morning in connection with a fight earlier this year at a strip club in Queens, in which Cardi apparently ordered her goons to put the beats on someone.

Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almnzar, was charged with two misdemeanors counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of assault, an NYPD spokesperson told CNN.

According to the outlet, the charges stem from an incident that occurred on Aug. 29th, when two bartenders at Angels Gentlemen’s Club claimed that Cardi ordered an attack on them.

Sources close to Cardi previously denied that she was involved in the attack, according to TMZ.  She is due in court on Oct. 29th.
