Boxers Unite Under Black Out Boxing To Inspire Change

In the last few weeks we have witnessed the sports community demostrate their support for the movement for change that has been sweeping the nation. Athletes from the NFL and NBA donned "I Can't Breathe" shirts during pre-game warms-ups to show protesters that they recognized their actions and demand for justice and change. Derrick Rose, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Reggie Bush and Andrew Hawkins are just a few of the names of pro athletes that were willing to take a stand, even when fans and the media criticized them for their actions.

Then on Friday December 12th, a new source of support emerged, this time in the form of professional boxing. "Black Out Boxing", comprised of Andre Berto, Peter Quillin, Zab Judah, Errol Spence Jr., Shawn Porter and Joe Judah, stepped in to "the ring" (pun intended) of protest by sitting down and discussing the current events involving protests, injustice and the need for the change.
