Ben Tate Released By Browns

Ben Tate was pegged as the Cleveland Brown's No. 1 back after being signed to a two-year, $7 million deal. The running back has seemingly struggled to move the pile all year. Not to mention his productivity issues after fellow RB’s Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West have emerged as viable options.

This decision is coming off the heels of a brutal loss to the Texans, Tate’s former team. Tate was made a captain for this game and had 2 rushes for -9 yards, yikes. Tate reportedly after the game expressed disinterest in dealing with the media showing his frustration for his lack of carries. He talked very highly of his counterparts saying that Crowell and West have an explosiveness that older backs just do not have. Tate will be a steal for a team who has a tremendous need for a complimentary back.
