Baron Davis Visited By Aliens in Vegas

While other NBA free agents were courting visits from general managers offering multi-year contracts, former NBA All-Star Baron Davis was welcomed by visitors from another planet. Or so he says.

In a conversation on "The Champs Podcast" Davis described the circumstances surrounding his abduction two weeks ago.

Via New York Daily News:

“I was, um, on my way from Vegas here to L.A.,” he said on the episode that aired Thursday. “I’m a little tired and s— and I see this light and I think it’s a big-a– truck.

“Then next thing you know, dude, like, I was in this f—— steel thing,” Davis deadpanned. Instead, the foul-mouthed Davis was stuck with “these f—— crazy-looking people” who were “half-human, half, like, f—–, ugly motherf——.”

“Dude, they were poking me on my nose and s—,” Davis replied. “They were poking me on my nose and they were, like, looking me in my eyes,” added Davis, who works as a community rep for the Knicks. “They had my hands like, tied up and the next thing you know, I was f—— in Montebello, dude, burning rubber on the way back to L.A. It was like four o’clock in the morning.”

Later on in the interview, he admits to taking Percocet as a means of alleviating the pain in his right patellar tendon after surgery last year. I’m sure this is completely unrelated, but the psychiatric side effects of Percocet include paranoia, psychosis and hallucinations.

It's too bad they didn't look up Metta World Peace's address in the City of Angels. He's looking for a foreign culture to explore and he's often been confused with a foreign being from another planet.
