Andrew Bynum, once a promising and dominant center, hasn’t played in the League since 2014. He’s planning a comeback for this season, according to a new report from @ShamsCharania: https://t.co/FO5Ed69a3Y

At 18, Bynum was drafted No. 10 overall out of St. Joseph H.S. in Metuchen, New Jersey. After an up-and-down career, where he never reached his full potential, Bynum retired at the young age of 26.

Bynum is young enough to make a comeback if his body is up to the task, but making an NBA team will be a challenge. Hes not known as an inside presence that can also shoot long range and the game has changed since Bynum last played. The traditional center really doesnt exist in most NBA offenses.

He may be able to catch on with a contender that needs an inside presence who can rebound and block shots. Hes been spotted in some private workouts and appears to be in decent shape.
