Adrien Broner Arrested In Atlanta

Former boxing champ Adrien Broner was arrested in Atlanta Monday night for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a local shopping mall, BSO and TMZ Sports has confirmed. According to witnesses, Broner grabbed a womans private area while at the Louis Vuitton store.

Allegedly, law enforcement was called to the Lenox Square shopping center on Monday evening where a woman told police that “About Billions” had “inappropriately groped her.” Broner denied the allegation — but after being interviewed by cops, they believed there was enough evidence to arrest him for misdemeanor sexual battery. At that point, the cops were called and he was escorted out of the mall while he pleading his case.

Adrien Broner Arrested for Sexual Battery

Former boxing champ Adrien Broner was arrested in Atlanta Monday night for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a local shopping mall, TMZ Sports has confirmed.

The 28-year-old was transported to Fulton County Jail without incident and he was scheduled to face a judge around 9 AM EST this morning.

Broner has always been in the middle of controversies having meltdowns both in public and on social media lately. After his loss last year to Mikey Garcia, Broner sounded renewed at the Showtime Boxing Upfronts at Cipriani’s in New York City vowing to avenge his losses and become more focused. Still, a slew of incidents including assaulting a man in Las Vegas, assaulting a man over a bowling debt and more have always kept the fighter in hot water during the lead up to a pending fight promotion.

Broner is scheduled to fight Omar Figueroa Jr. on April 21st and no word has been issued by Showtime Sports or Premier Boxing Champions on if this arrest puts that fight in jeopardy.
