A Dress Code At The Grammy Awards?

For reasons unbeknownst to most people, this year the members of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences have decided to install a dress code at the Grammy Awards.

Yes, you read that correctly. A dress code for musicians at an awards show honoring music. It seems asinine at best, controlling at worst. Hard to say what’s behind the decision-making, since there wasn’t any rampant dude or profanity displayed at last year’s Grammys. At any rate, it's happening and the list of rules states that "buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered,” and that there is to be no "see-through clothing or  "exposure of the genital region."

Seems to us, the Academy is being heavy-handed. Expect ratings to fall way short of its usual number.
