Kobe Bryant’s “Dear Basketball” Wins Oscar For Best Animated Short

Kobe Bryant won 5 NBA Championships, 2 NBA Finals MVP awards, 1 NBA MVP and was named to the All Star team 18 times. After retiring from the League, Kobe started his next life as a businessman, starting a $100 million venture capital fund with investments in companies such as The Players Tribune and Juicero.

But Kobe just won another award that no one would have believed possible, and that’s an Oscar.

Kobe’s Dear Basketball just won the Oscar for best Animated Short and he wasn’t going to “just shut up and dribble” about it either.
