The Omaha native was just too much for Postol; faster and hitting harder with laser cut precision while dominating the fight from the beginning.

The judges scored the bout 118-107, 118-107 and 117-108 for Crawford who now looks less like the new kid on the block and more as the global threat to watch.

Bob Arum confirmed that Manny Pacquiao has agreed to face Crawford at 140lbs, his natural fighting weight, when he returns to action on November 5th. Pacquiao, who is a Philippine Senator, will be able to fight during the Senates adjournment, fulfilling his promise to not let boxing interrupt his political career.

With Crawford feeling Postol out over the first three rounds, he began to exert his dominance in the fourth landing a series of damaging left hands.

In the fifth, he had Postol on the canvas in the opening seconds with a right hook, and sent him down for a second time in the same round with another left.

Crawford switched from orthodox to southpaw at random, throwing off the Ukranian and solidifying for the pay-per-view audience and those in arena that he is one of the best in the world.

Valentina Shevchenko gives Holly Holm her second straight loss

Holly Holm has suffered back-to-back losses for the first time in her combined MMA, boxing and kickboxing careers.

Holm (10-2) won the first round of her UFC on FOX 20 main event against Valentina Shevchenko (13-2) thanks to a knockdown. Then she lost the next four as Shevchenko won most of the striking exchanges and was a step ahead of her most of the time.

Holm won the womens bantamweight title by knocking out the seemingly unbeatable Ronda Rousey last November at UFC 193 in Australia. Soon, she was choked unconscious by Miesha Tate in the final round at UFC 196 in March, losing the most coveted belt in womens MMA.

Shevchenko was rebounding from a loss to current womens bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 196 and is undoubtedly looking to climb the ladder and avenge her loss.

Fabian Maidana TKOs Jorge Maysonet

Undefeated prospect Fabian Maidana (10-0) scored a seventh-round technical knockout victory over Jorge Maysonet Jr. (13-2, 11 KOs) Saturday night in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions on NBCSN from the Scottish Rite Auditorium in San Antonio.

His brother is former world champion Marcos Maidana, who was sitting ringside.

The Puerto Rican Maysonet pressed Maidana early, nailing a right hand to the nose that opened up a steady flow of blood.

From there, Maidana took over the second round, finally landing a right hand, left hook combination with just over 10 seconds to go. Maidana would out-land Maysonet 12-4 in power shots.

After a steady attack in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth rounds that saw Maidana doubling up on his hooks and firing straight rights while landing head-snapping shots, Maysonet failed to answer the bell for the seventh round.
