J. Cole Lectures At Harvard

On Tuesday, J. Cole lectured to Harvard students about his career, motivations and opinions on the music industry. The discourse, entitled "The Next Move: A Conversation With J. Cole," was fitting considering J. Cole’s unique résumé, which includes an undergrad degree with magna cum laude honors from St. Johns University.

J. Cole also spoke about his one-time desire to play in the NBA, addressed social stereotypes and even touched on politics and national politicians’ problems with women.

J. Cole also delved into the lack of rappers who have been awarded the Grammy's ultimate Album of the Year accolade and the message it sends about the value of rap in the broader music community. J. Cole probably doesn’t have an immediate future on the lecture tour or as a regular commencement speaker, but J. Cole did his thing and tweeted his gratitude afterwards:
