Plaxico Burress is back in the NFL.

Plax worked out for the Steelers, and his former team now plan to sign the embattled receiver. 

That was quick. The Steelers needed cover as Antonio Brown and Jericho Cotchery are down with injury. Brown is expected to return for Week 13. The big target will also help the Steelers deal with injuries to Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich.

In other NFL news, Ed Reed was handed a suspension for his hits this weekend. 

It didn't go down well with some of the players.

Reed is appealing the suspension.

Despite having his name cleared, Kevin Cash, the voice of Elmo recently accused of having sex with a minor, is moving on from his gig. Really a horrible situation, and makes children trying to speak out more difficult.
