TSL Sports Talk Recap: Corey Parson

As we enter into the eigth week of fantasy football, Sirius XM’s Fantasy Football Exec, Corey Parson, joined us on TSL Sports Talk this week to dish out weekly fantasy football tips. With 12 teams coming up on bye in weeks 9 & 10, Parson also talked about how to prepare your starting lineup in lieu of some of your players who will be on bye. In addition to the big bye weeks ahead of us, Parson talked about the many player injuries throughout the league and how that shrinks an already small selection pool. In that case, it would be smart to start making moves ASAP. One particularly useful tip Parson gave and that I followed – in previous weeks and this week- was picking up and starting Denver’s RB Ronnie Hillman.

Parson:

You’re looking at a Denver team that is clicking offensively. I know Phillip Rivers is tough and he’ll come into the game and put up a good show, but this game should be trending towards Peyton Manning and all those guys going in and blowing them out. So for fantasy purposes, you start Manning, Demaryius Thomas, Ronnie Hillman, and Emmanuel Sanders. You get all those guys out there. Speaking of Ronnie Hillman, I think he may have taken a job away from Montee Ball also.

Listen to the full interview above to hear what message Parson has for Delanie Walker, Kendell Wright & Justin Hunter owners, which players to pick up ASAP if they’re still available in your league ahead of the big bye weeks coming up and more.
