Steelers’ Martavis Bryant facing 4 game suspension

Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant is facing a four-game suspension for violating the leagues substance abuse policy with multiple failed drug tests.

Bryant filed an appeal, which is reportedly in the latter stages of the appeals process. If it’s upheld the Steelers will not only have lost Bryant for the season opener against the New England Patriots they will have also lost Le’Veon Bell due to suspension and starting center Maurice Pouncey to an ankle injury, three key players in the Pittsburgh offense.

Bryant, coming off of a solid year, led the league in yards-per-catch average (21.1) and pulled in 26 catches for 549 yards with 8 touchdowns.

Bryant is a young player that made a mistake, and only might get 2 games; Steelers fans are holding their collective breath.
