A week later and it's no less sad. It’s especially hard to forget the daughter of Kasandra Perkins and Javon Belcher and the reality the three-month old baby will face in the future. Fortunately, others have her best interest in heart.

According to Yahoo Sports, the NFL will put the Belcher’s daughter, Zoey, through college.

“…She is the beneficiary of the collective bargaining agreement signed last year. Zoey's guardian or her estate will receive $108,000 a year. When she is 5, she will receive $48,000, then $52,000 a year until she is 18 or 23, depending on if she goes to college”.

The Kansas City Chiefs have also set up a trust fund for Zoey Belcher.
