Michigan State ends Ohio State’s 23-Game Winning Streak

The Michigan State Spartans walked into “The Shoe” as underdogs and took out the #2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes 17-14, taking control of the Big Ten Conference.

The Spartans crushed Ohio State’s hopes to repeat as champions, and caused turmoil within the Buckeyes family, as several Buckeye players made disheartening statements following the stunning loss.

Running back Ezekiel Phillips complained about the play-calling and stated “there’s no chance of me coming back next year“. Quarterback Cardale Jones posted on twitter, that he’d played his last home game.

The Buckeyes still have one game left to play at Michigan this season, and their key players are blaming each other following the loss and speaking as if the season is already over. Has Urban Meyer lost his team before the biggest game of the year? It sure seems that way.
